The Work Of Amy V. Dewhurst

Amy V. Dewhurst learned filmmaking from legends including Sydney Pollack (The Interpreter), + Martin Scorsese (The Departed). She assisted director Kirsten Sheridan (In America) on the Academy Award nominated August Rush. She was hired by its’ producer, Richard B. Lewis (Backdraft) for feature film development.

For more than a decade Dewhurst has been a features editor at LA Yoga Magazine. She was honored to work with Ram Dass and his Love, Serve, Remember Foundation on many of his legacies projects including books, films, CDs + live events.

Amy co-produces part of the Milken Institute’s Global Conference at the Beverly Hilton + Belinda Carlisle’s Christmas Party (to benefit APA) at The Abbey annually. She served as the spirituality curator/producer at SoHo House / Little Beach House Malibu, produced Senator + Nicole Boxer’s Podcast at The Wrap PowerWomen in Hollywood Conference, Congressman Tim Ryan’s Book Launch at ABC Carpet Home + much more. For over 10 years she co-produced yoga + music festival, Bhakti Fest.

Dewhurst recently worked on many remembrance initiatives for the 25th anniversary of 9/11. They included a Presidential Medal of Freedom, a Congressional Medal of Valor, The Dropkick Murphy’s “A Hero Among Many” Music Video + more.

She writes, produces, consults + makes magic on special projects globally.
